Hello guys, I have sr software engineer offer from workday (p4) and Microsoft(63) Workday: 180k base 250stocks/4 years 35 sign on bonus Refresher between 40-60% of initial grant What is usual refresher at workday? Or do they even give one? Microsoft: 170K base 200 stocks/4 years 50 sign on Bonus is usually 15-30% of base Does Microsoft not give any refresher? And what is usually the bonus? Location is Bay Area are the offers usually what is given for those levels? anyone from Microsoft and Workday can help? I am leaning towards MS but I am not sure the offer is that great specially when I have better offer and the recruiter didn’t seem keen on negotiating based on her response. Please help evaluate.

Workday offer looks pretty good. Workday refresher is pretty generous, average will be 80k per year. we also get 50 stocks as performance bonus company wide.
Is refresher vesting also over 4 years or so they vest over 1 year?
Refresher takes 1 year to vest and then quarterly over next 3 years.
Workday offer is better and wday refreshers are actually very competitive even against FANG. As long as you’re not on XO, come to Workday What’s your YOE? Yours is def top of the band P4 offer

Workday refreshes are great. You will get 90k-100k even if you perform average for p4 guaranteed every year. Stock appreciation will be higher than Microsoft in the next few years

Technically there’s refresh. At L63, the target refresh grant is 17k/5y. It’s a complete joke.
