Less safe.
Compared to what? Mass is an advantage when considering safety
Odyssey was declared as an unsafe vehicle. Sienna has 3 stars for driver side crash rating. Maybe carnival is a good one but not sure about safety ratings. In general SUV though not very practical tend to have longer hoods and better crash rating, safety features compared to a mini van.
Just gimmie a fully electric minivan that can go 400 miles driving 80mph with the A/C on and I’m sold!
Speaking my language!!
+1 I want an electric minivan
It's the family hauler. Period. The best .. the suv can move aside
For Grandpas and Grandmas, yes.
I wish there was a luxury trim in this segment - quieter cabin, hi-fi audio system.
Lincoln Navigator. Exactly what you asked for.
I know all minivans fans feel proud about themselves. But have you ever checked the safety reviews before buying and if you did how can you justify buying? Don’t tell me suvs have higher rollover chances but those are not as bad as minivans. https://www.forbes.com/sites/jimgorzelany/2023/09/20/why-all-us-minivans-are-rated-only-marginal-or-poor-in-the-latest-iihs-crash-tests/?sh=49c051a24555 And this is what happens when minivans collide with suv or pickup trucks https://www.business-standard.com/world-news/6-indian-origin-family-members-killed-in-fatal-crash-in-texas-us-123122800076_1.html
This is exactly what I was saying in my comments. Minivans are very unsafe and modern day SUVs are lot better. None of the companies have flagship as minivans and usually minivans get the tech and safety features at the last. Sienna has 3 star driver rating and Odyssey is already declared as very unsafe. Not sure why these chest beat for owning a mini van.
I am genuinely waiting for op’s response on what other feature can be more important than safety in a car. Off course I am not talking about driving a 18 wheeler for safety but minivans are unsafe among family vehicles in general .
Just buy a Toyota Sienna. Not that Chrysler crap.
Yasss!
