That was my go to app for Finances https://www.theverge.com/2023/11/2/23943254/mint-intuit-shutting-down-credit-karma
What!? I use it all the time. ... Oh, I read the article. Mint users can transfer their accounts to Credit Karma.. Hopefully not a big deal.
But with a huge feature loss. I can just log into my bank account to see my transactions.
It’s a big deal…. Read Monarchs CEO blog post about this….
This is really sad
Intuit is in trouble after govt. launching their own tax filing system for certain states. Also a good alternative to mint is NerdWallet.
I mean, you can essentially replicate it using excel. Too easy to clone, not enough up sell
You pull data from all your financial accounts into excel?
Yes, not that hard to set up API call to fetch all the relevant information on a periodic basis
Every service that is free and good will eventually either shut down or become shitty.
Intuit is neither free nor good. They have a lobby to keep taxation difficult. They are in lawsuits for hiding the free tax filing software. Mint has had issues with data breach
Intuit sucks no disagreement there. Mint started off magical and then steadily got worse after they got bought.
I thought you meant mint mobile…
Will my transactions be migrated to credit karma??
Yes
Thanks! @credit karma
A good replacement is Tiller HQ, a lot of users of Mint migrated for more power user features, although it's not free. https://www.tillerhq.com/?via=vaclav
Can I import my mint data into tiller?
Yes, I actually did that.
Mint was full of ads when I tried it, it sycked
So sad... mine too
