More layoffs, Accenture cut 19.000 jobs
What title says, accenture slashes 19.000 jobs, what is going on? It’s incredible how many people being laid off at the same time.

the worst part is that we had record sales last quarter. largest sales quarter ever. and they're still laying off
You need record profits not record sales. All the overhead is eating into the profits. Wage inflation is real.
the major layoffs will happen in the strategic and consulting part because as per the Q2 FY23 performance report analysis that dept did horrible (mid single digit decline)

It’s a news to pump up the stock.. mDs won’t get laid off.. no chance
They promoted 3000 MDs since 2020 (last 3 years). 900 is not much. 40% of layoffs are not MD and Not corporate functions. So that’s about 7-8% to be laid off after august and before January right? Or is it longer horizon?
