Need suggestions on below offer I am very much satisfied with my base salary but wanted to get communities suggestion ROLE : VP (DE) Base : 185k Sign on / re location: 20k Recutuer said I would be getting around 35k-60k bonus, but no numbers or % is mentioned in the offer letter (I am very Skeptical about this, based on how he told me) It says " include a discretionary pro-rated bonus." Location:ATL Current tc: 135k yoe:5 #morganstanley #etrade #fintech#interview #finance #tech
Bonus isn’t included in the offer letter, it’ll just say something like “pro rated discretionary bonus”
On avg how much % dose a vp get
Depends on the salary, you’re numbers seem correct
This is a great offer for ATL and your yoe. Ofcourse nothing close to tech but most VPs in nyc also do not make as much. Bonus is never written on the offer letter but first yr bonus is a prorated amount of what you negotiate. Congratulations 🎊
Thank you, but your name tag worries me 🤣
Haha well it's definitely is not the greatest place to work at. But most of my concerns are towards compensation and pay and promotions. None of which I have seen for myself over the past 4 years and I have created and lead some very impactful projects. All this always depends on team and manager. So if you have a great manager then none of this is a concern
If it is not provided in writing it is nothing but hot steam. Unless you don’t get the bonus specifics confirmed IN WRITING, it is basically non existent.
That's what I was thinking, but Recutuer keeps on saying that's how Morgan Stanley is , it's not google fb etc
Wanted to know if that was norm in Morgan Stanley’s offer letters
