I am buying a house and I’m looking to get a mortgage loan. Should I go with a credit union or a bank and why. If you bought a house in the past and with a mortgage from a credit union, what was your experience like? #mortgage #housing TC: $89K

Use a mortgage banker or mortgage broker - likely better service and pricing …. If you have a relationship with a bank or credit union ask them for any affinity deals that they may have
It doesn’t matter too much, but these days credit unions are typically giving better rates.
what is a good cu with lower rates?
Just go with a local credit union. Then get a couple bids from big mortgage lenders like Sofi, Better.com, Strong Home Mortgage, NBKC, etc. Use the best bid to negotiate down the local credit union.
