1. Internship in area 2. Any work experience at all, flipping burgers etc 3. Any organized sports 4. Some combination of major, grades, school, awards etc First 3 is to show you can generally operate in a structured work environment 4th is tiebreaker to get interview and then it’s programming skills, leetcode, personality etc
Then it’s time to train your gag reflex away
And start learning to swallow instead of spit
