In my experience, working from home has been relaxed, easy and enjoyable. It's tragic that apple is painting a smear campaign against it. https://youtu.be/6_pru8U2RmM
Makes sense because Apple is very anti wfh. Just capitalizing on a trend with this ad
Relaxed, easy and enjoyable? Haha, NO.
Haha the finance guy lol
I think the ad is actually quite balanced and fun. Some folks like the single parent were clearly suffering, some were doing just fine.
Yeah, it must be really crazy for single parents. My wife stays as home, but we still struggle
The video is so funny :))))
I think many companies who advocate WFH now are just interested in the cost savings this might bring them by not managing central office spaces, and being able to widen the talent pool/competition and this way lower overall labor costs. There is also abuse by a small percentage of employees who work less/sleep/etc. (yes and the opposite where employees work longer hours). I personally think that working from the office enables much better engagement and therefore productivity. But thats my opinion and what Im hearing is that management loves WFH (apparently because they can see their families all day).
I think productivity is only slightly better in the office. Quality of life is higher at home office (harder with kids but still better) and all around a huge win for the environment to cut millions of cars-miles. For me, I don't care if an employer loses a little bit of worker productivity for a net positive outside the workplace, because I don't value maximizing corporate gains.
Fuck WFH.

Ironically they allowed employees to WFH till end of the year!
It’s just supposed to be a fun little ad. Even though Apple is surprisingly anti wfh 😂; I think people are reading into it too much. Just like the other underdogs ad they released.
