Is it worth moving over an existing 401k from Vanguard to Fidelity? My previous employer's 401k was at Vanguard. It's very low load, mostly index funds. I've also got my kid's 529b there. Is the benefit of moving to Fidelity (is there any?) worth the hassle of the switch?
I love fidelity for my personal stock trading but hate it for my Amazon 401k (at least the mobile app). It used to be vanguard which had some great features for 401k like a time chart that shows capital vs gains. Hell fidelity app doesn’t even have a time chart at all for my 401k.
Move it to IRA instead of 401k. You will have much more freedom to invest.
Btw, Infosys just took over Vanguard 401(k) tech and business process.
Interesting. It will certainly have some impact on operations, but I don't know enough about the situation to know how. What impact do you think that will have?
I just moved it the other way.
Any opinions so far?
