It really depends on the team and location. Veritas is struggling to change itself from years of mismanagement, soloing, no diversity culture, no successful product releases. I landed in a great team, but there are teams that failed to deliver and they are being laid off
Your might be in a great team but the company is going down. The ship is sinking. Your cabin still is nice and dry but sooner or later you go down. There is no future in this company.
I don’t believe there is no future. Sure enough the company has to get rid of people like you ASAP. That is why it is laying off while hiring
It's a tough place to be as the company is going through a serious transformation. And I do mean serious. However, depending on the team and role, it can also challenge you to deliver your best and to deliver things of real importance and substance toward the success of that transformation. Veritas isnt for sissies, but go for it if you intend to bring your A-game.
Why do you want to take your A game over there? What’s the upside? Sooner or later they are going to dump this company. They are in salvage operations. So go somewhere that there is award ( Working with cool technology and financial) for your A game.
Veritable capital? Their portfolio companies?
