Moving to FANG from unicorns
How easy to move to FANG from a unicorn (such as airbnb, uber, Pinterest, lyft)? Is unicorn talent considered as same caliber as FANG? (I would assume so since they are filled with ex-google/ex-fb) Also will FANG downlevel ppl coming from unicorns? For context, I took a unicorn offer over google recently, I was wondering how easy it would be to get ia similar level in FANG after the IPO a few years from now.
Expect delevel unless your very good
If you received offers from FANG and Unicorns it should be pretty easy to go back and forth between the two. Your Google recruiter will have seen that you got an offer from them before. Downleveling happens when there's a misalignment of scope and titles. FB/Google will downlevel titles many times because there's little, if any, title inflation.

Getting an interview is easy. I wouldn't worry about being downlevelled since your TCO will probably double.
