Mumbai/Pune. Will retain US salary for couple of years. (Not in Amazon anymore). I have my plan but want to validate it.
How long and at what position did you stayed to make this much
That’s about $3.5m
Buy properties and put them on rent. Invest some in low risk stock market
More than enough 3 to 5 cr gets you a house in good location Even if you put rest of the money in a interest account , you can live off it and fund kids schooling easily without working. Question - how did you amas such wealth ? Reason - trying to figure out my path in life
Good location. Not a great location.
44 million $ is not enough for great location?
Do something bigger than yourself. Make a small hospital or school for underprivileged. This is a good sum of money to help giving your life a good meaning.
You sir are phenomenal
Speaking from experience , this amount of money won’t create a hospital It can be used for some charity though , so agree with the sentiment
Baller
How did you get to this point?
That sounds like a plan but what company can provide US salary in India for 2 years?
If you transfer to India, you get to keep all your unvested RSUs. With Amazon's RSU heavy comp policy, it could be closer to your US salary. If you take an international assignment, you get paid US salary too.
Put 20-25% in a low risk portfolio / #dependents * PPFs #dependents * cancer care policies 25% real estate in up and coming cities, maybe Ahmedabad/Surat (?)+invest in having good property managers Remaining split between stock market and a lifestyle upgrade
Gujju?
No. South Indian. I just read the papers.
AMD is coming out with 64 core threadripper... oh thought you said cores
