Should I keep my Eagle Scout award on my resume?
Currently I m on H1-B, so even though my side project has reached to the point where I can make it a business, because of H1-B rules I have not incorporated it. But in a month my green card processing will start. I want to understand if I can I start AND WORK in my own company for side income once the green card processing starts ? Also I am already aware that even in H1-B if I hire other to do the work without me doing anything then I can still start my company. But I have figured out that company will die soon if I just sit idle and keep on paying others from my own pocket. TC: I don’t know if it is relevant here or not but to be safe from ‘TC OR GTFO’ : 200k. 😊
I dont think so. You'll still be on H1B.
Correct answer. You only get EAD from greencard after i485 is filed. First step is i140 which doesn't give you any status. After priority date becomes current you can apply for EAD as part of i485 application.
