My chances: Nextdoor onsite interview
I recently had a nextdoor on-site interview. 4 technical rounds + 1 manager round. Well everything went well except the last technical round. I was exhausted and when i am, i know i get migraine. After that I wasn’t able to think anything on problems. I couldn’t solve last technical round. What do you think of my chances at Nextdoor ?
We don't always look for you to "solve" the problem. The working through is more important. If you feel that this really hindered your chances - follow up with your recruiter and explain your situation and that if the decision is on the fence then to give you another shot. Not very common but we've had engineers and others come back for follow up interviews.
I understand but because of migraines, I couldn’t do anything in that round and it was nice question. Basically I couldn’t think much and present my logic. This has made me feel very sad because i tried hard for Nextdoor and because of just health issue, i am having such a setback.
I think migraine should be checked , it’s really hard at times and I can feel your pain , medications didn’t help me much , but I can even get dizzy at times and I just have to leave and go sleep :(
