I'll basically be exposing myself by posting the articles that I wrote but that's okay because I already left PayPal and this handle will soon be deactivated :P I wanted to share these two articles to the blind community so that anyone looking for "what to expect in soft engg interview" and "prep material" will be benefited. Clap if you like them and think they are useful or leave a comment if you think I need to correct something. 1. My interview Experience - https://lnkd.in/gSRyr4J 2. Congrats. So you accepted the FB offer without waiting for Netflix to find a suitable match for you?
Yes, I was in a rush and after giving a thought I came to a conclusion that for IC roles Netflix is good but FB should be good for management track.
For FB sys design, did you opt for product or system design?
Product
Thanks. Can you please elaborate on what the difference is between prod and sys design? I have seen multipl Blind post and still confused about the difference between them
New tc?
Sorry can't share, I am okay to gtfo :P
E6?
Sorry, can't share.
Lol he is just an MTS1 can’t level to E6 .. max would be E5
So helpful - thanks for sharing and congrats 🎉
Very detailed posts. Really appreciate your effort!
Congratulation!! Thank you for sharing the details. So did you prepare for 2 months, did phone/OA for 1 month, and onsites for the following 1 month?
2020 start, I was solving leetcode passively for 2 months. At that time it was taking more than 1 hr for medium problem. Later end of 2020, I took 1.5 months for LC and 1 month for system design and rest of the time was just revision while giving interviews
Congrats on the offer OP
Congrats on the offers and fantastic articles! One thing to note though, “giving interviews” means you are the interviewer that is interviewing a candidate. It’s differently just “interviewing”, or “doing interviews”, which means you are the candidate interviewing for the position. Cheers!
Thanks, I'll edit them over the weekend :)
Thanks for posting this. Congratulations on the offers 🙂
