What do you work on?
Did you apply at San Jose or San Francisco USCIS center? I want to know how many months it takes from the application date to oath ceremony. Also did you use a lawyer to submit your citizenship application or do we need lawyer help in general ?
When my spouse was naturalized in 2016 in the DC area it was 6 months from application to swearing in He did not use a lawyer, it was a pretty straightforward application and process.
Thanks but I am primarily looking for recent ( 2022 to 2023 )wait times for San Jose or San Francisco USCIS centers.
Congrats! USA USA USA
Congrats! I hope someday I get mine too
What was your nationality
What months in 2016 and 2018? I've been here over a year but the GC backlog is hitting me. I'm not confident I'll get my GC in less than a year. America has been way less kind to me than to you it seems.
I filled out for citizenship early 2023 and still nothing...you are lucky congrats!
Which USCIS center did you apply to ?
Fresno, CA
How early did you apply for citizenship? 90days before 5 year mark?
Yes, got everything readied up ahead of time and I submitted my application as soon as it was possible.
How much stuff do you need to get ready? Isn’t it just GC and counting days you were not in America?
