I am seeing a trend where Dow Jones is going up and NASDAQ is going down. Why are all tech stocks going down ? What’s the reason ? NASDAQ has come down 7933 to 7667. That’s a 3% drop for the index. This drop is happening while the big companies are buying back their stock. That in particular is worrisome. Wold you try redirecting money from tech stocks to other industries ? OR is this an opportunity to buy low?
Nope. Look at MSFT, GOOG,... it’s not just facebook and twitter.
At the start of a recession, it is the expensive price to earnings companies that deflate first. Look back to 2000-2002, this just keeps repeating for each generation. Young people pile into tech, then get bleeded dry.
What is an expensive price to earnings company in your opinion. I am not able to understand.
That’s why you work at tesla ;)
You should be on Wallstreet you trend spotter.
Just popping in to give you all your daily reminder: Anyone on Blind who claims they are certain tech will crash or boom is either a liar or an idiot. If you’re one of those people, go on Robinhood and show us screenshots of your current positions to back up your bullshit. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and stop sending spreading shit.
Freedom of speech 🤔
That’s not what freedom of speech is.
Nasdaq is tech heavy. Tech is weighed down by FANG.
It seems pretty much everything is tech heavy nowadays. I mostly put money into vanguard total stock market and it still takes a good hit and doesn't help. Diversification at work :(
