The man I love hates me because I’m Vietnamese
Hi, so I've noticed that at least 2-3 people from my NLP graduate program have mentioned landing roles at NVIDIA in GenAI. I googled the position though and nothing really came up in the search results. I reached out to a few and one of them replied. He stated that it was a contract role and that I wasn't going to find it on the NVIDIA careers page. However, he didn't exactly tell me where to look/how to find it 😅🫤 I guess alums don't necessarily have to be helpful, but I was definitely a little disappointed. I'd understand more if he didn't already have the role. It's not like I was competing with him 🤐 But anyway, I was wondering if any NVIDIA employees might be able to provide info on how to find these contract roles (I'm happy to DM if you aren't comfortable sharing publicly. I'm super interested in learning how I might find this position if it opens up again. TC: Variable - Freelance at Remotasks as a "subject matter expert" earning $50/hr and currently assigned to a long-term project for an upcoming Gen AI search engine at one of the FAANG companies.
Often times contract work is managed through firms or hiring agencies. Not through their own recruiters. Gluck figuring our who it is.
