I know these are hard times, but..... About to receive a promotion to field sales. As off-cycle time of the year (performance review due in May/June), they were not able to allocate any extra budget for the role. So I will be promoted with no salary increase a/o IC level Wondering if anyone has suggestions, do you think it is normal? If your Q1 is in April, make sure to get written note on extra cash. Usually they get budget sets every Q1
Generally what % tc or base bump is expected on promotion?
I don’t think that’s normal, but are you changing comp plans going into field sales that would increase your pay (commission, bonus, etc) without bumping up your salary?
