Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
I had a onsite interview (6 team members) with NVIDIA for System Design Position in their Server Design Team. Technical rounds/discussion went smooth as I am doing similar work at Qualcomm. My last round was scheduled with HR (15 minutes) and said he would be pushing the team to give quick feedback and get back in couple of days (he also mentioned that one of the feedback from onsite is pretty solid). It’s been 8 days since and the HR has not contacted me back, I sent him an email to which he didn’t reply either. Any similar experience Blinders? TC: 160k YOE: MS + 4.5yrs
Mail recruiter saying you have another offer and are waiting for nvidia offer to make decision, I think they are just slow,
I had mentioned that to HR during my interaction with with him. Actually I had a onsite with Apple coming up after my NVIDIA onsite. So I mentioned it to HR after he asked if I am also interviewing with anyone else. Do you think this might have played negatively?
My guess is that they are also interviewing other candidates so you just have to wait until they evaluate everyone
In the same boat. Started process mid February, just had final rounds this week. It took weeks to schedule between round interviews, and had to email recruiter once (after waiting a week with no update) to figure out status. I’m guessing I’ll have to wait a week (or 2?) to hear back.
They are pretty slowww. I applied towards end of Jan, verbal offer mid march, signed offer by mid Apr, still waiting for them to apply for my H1 transfer 🤦🤦
At least they aren’t rescinding offers like Meta 😂
HR guy completely ghosting me. I sent LinkedIn request to the hiring manager, to my surprise he accepted it. After messaging him regarding the status of my onsite interview, he replied that they should be making a decision soon. This was on last Sunday.
Did you get a response? I'm in the same boat, no response from HR, about 5 days post on-site. It took weeks to schedule the interviews previously as well.
Nope, no response as of now. HR just won’t reply to my emails. Been 7 working days since my onsite interview. For my, scheduling interviews was quick, I got updated from the recruiting coordinator within 2 days of initial screening and took a day to schedule 2nd screening.
Oh that sucks. I'll keep you posted on when they respond to me. If I don't get anything in a week, I'll send them this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_36yNWw_07g best of luck bro
Their recruiters are notoriously unprofessional.
There is a thread about hiring freeze at Nvidia
Think it’s dependent on team/role. Another thread had someone who got a written offer earlier this week
How difficult is it for HR to draft a simple email of current status and update candidate? Feels like a waste of time.
Recruiter called me next day for the verbal offer.
Thanks for letting me know that. I guess then it just means no for me. But I am wondering why the hell HR won’t even reply to my email? How much time does it take to reply to an email. It’s frustrating
