Need help on two questions related to the NVIDIA interview process: 1. I have a technical screen interview set up with NVIDIA. It is for a role related to building microservices in GPU Cloud. I haven't been able to get much details from the recruiter about it. Does anyone know what to expect, or this is very team specific? Recruiter initially responded with "You will likely be asked to explain something you worked on, and that would include some technical questions to check your understanding of your projects." After prodding the recruiter if this is a coding interview or sys design/behavioral, I was told "all interviews are technical in nature and will generally cover coding as well as higher level technical discussion." Very vague. Trying to understand what to expect: Leetcode, system design, behavioral, etc. Any pointers? 2. In addition, I have a hiring manager screen set up for a different position (similar skill set, different org). Does anyone have experience interviewing with two positions simultaneously? Below FAQ linked in recruiter's email says "You’re welcome to explore multiple opportunities" https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/about-nvidia/careers/how-we-hire/ I wonder if I need to explicitly notify all the parties that I am being considered for two positions or they should see it internally in their system TIA! You don’t need to mention about your interviews with different teams. They are aware of no. Of positions you applied and being interviewed at NV. I was asked about several positions applied during my on-site on a lighter note. It didn’t or doesn’t impact the decision
Good to know. Thanks!
Bump. Any idea what to expect during the interview?
Bump. I have an on-site with them after clearing the first round, but the recruiter doesn't talk to me if it's not about scheduling the interview. I got no clue what to expect
How was the first round? Coding or systems?
Hi, I have an on site myself in 2 weeks with Nvidia for the back end software developer position. Could you share how your onsite interview experience was and what was asked?
Hey I might have a phone screen with a cloud platform team. Can you share your interview experience and what to expect? Strangely the recruiter doesn’t want to reveal much and they have setup a phone call.
What role?
It’s a cloud engineer position.
OP: can you share your interview experience?
Updates for whomever interested: The interviews seem to be very team dependent, maybe even dependent on the interviewer. There is no format. Even the recruiters don't know anything. I had 3 screening rounds. First was tech discussion on things in my resume and job requirements (failed), second was casual chat with manager ( team #2, passed) , third was resume based tech discussion and behavioral questions (second round screen for the team#2, passed) I have now an onsite set up for mid December. Recruiter just email the type of interview (system design, culture fit, programming, etc). She doesn't know any further details. Asked for a prep call, but no luck. My suggestion is to prepare for the generic tech interview and get a good night of sleep. Rest is luck 🤞
Thanks for sharing some information. I wish you good luck and you will do great!
hey op, how did it go?
Hope your interview went well, would you mind your onsite experience?
They ghost you for months be prepared
Hi OP, how did your onsite interview go? I actually have a 45 mins coding interview (seems to be last technical round, after which have mostly final manager round) next week for a similar project and SW position, any tips?
The famous omnicloud job opening on LinkedIn. Hard to get that job, good luck.
Thanks for the luck. Not that opening for me. One interview is in GPU cloud, other is a different org.
