NVIDIA salary negotiation without job grade

I am in the process of salary negotiation, but HR does not tell me my job grade. They say I will only know when I start the job. I am not sure if different countries have different practices. May I ask if your offer includes the job grade? Can the job grade be negotiated? #NVIDIA

Not USA. I’m worried that HR is watching, it’s not good to say it outright, but in Asia.

Try asking the hiring manager. It’s crazy that they aren’t willing to tell you.

That is extremely weird, Job grade in itself is usually part of the offer negotiation. Telling you when you join doesn’t sound right..

I just had my negotiations and they told me the level after I asked. They didn’t budge much on the initial offer even though it was lower than the average on levels.fyi.
