NYC Goldman Sachs Associate Compensation Negotiation

I have a discussion with HR about compensation soon and I was curious what kind of offer I should be expecting/go for. From what I've seen so far on levels.fyi, it looks like this: The role is for SWE Analyst GS: Base: 100k - 115k Stock 0 - 35k Bonus: 10k - 45k TC Range: 110k - 165k Associate GS: Base: 125k - 150k Stock 0 - 3k Bonus: 15k - 60k TC Range: 140k - 210k The weird part is, the position I interviewed for is an associate position that requires 3-5 yoe whereas I only have less than 1. Should I expect associate or analyst level compensation? #goldman #sachs #compensation #negotiation #newyork #nyc TC: 70k

Congrats, either way is a big jump for your TC

Expect analyst, banks tend to be rigid on leveling. GS analysts with 1 yoe make about 115k with 20% bonus, stock isn't usually offered.
