I always hear FB had terrible WLB. Is it bad for a particular field or org? How is WLB for ML engineers?
Talking to some folks, it seems like ads is intense in general for ML eng too. Not too sure about other orgs. Take it with a grain of salt since everyone's mileage might vary.
It’s not too bad. People sometimes are competitive because they want to get the best ratings. Just pick a chill team during bootcamp.

where do you hear this? from 5 people on blind who don't work here? In general, WLB is up to you. Rarely will managers set extreme deadlines. WLB is bad if you are trying for aggressive promotions.
"wlb is up to you" - meaning the system is designed to leave that decision to you and make you feel bad for a slow pace?
