Small non profit, looking to stay in touch with our donors. Looking for a tool that sends email and text (based on donors preference), integrates with Google Contacts, and auto sends email/text based on triggers (donors birthday, no contact > nn days, etc.). Looked at HubSpot, Salesforce (+their marketplaces) but surprisingly neither do this. Seems relatively straightforward, what am I missing? Would love some guidance. There are other additional workflows/ complications I'd like to add though the above would be a great start. Example: Some donors need to be contacted weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. PS: HubSpot said some automation (not the one in my use case) is possible at the Enterprise level plan, $800+ a month. I'd rather spend that on helping a child. Also, surprisingly, HubSpot offers 40% discount for non profits but 90% for startups. Capitalists? Disappointed. #crm #contacts #stayintouch #workflows #automation
Was in dynamics CRM team. Absolutely sure dynamics and Salesforce can do what you want.
Thank you, will check again. Did not try Dynamics.
No ability to automate outreach based on triggers and send via preferred communication method (email or text). Example: send "template1" to 8 contacts via email and via text to 2 contacts; send "happybirthday" template to those with Birthday today.
Try send in blue. That’s what I suggested to my friends nonprofit who wanted similar stuff.
I'm surprised to hear you say Salesforce can't do what you're asking. I've been out of SF for a few years but I feel pretty confident it can. What was the blocker?
Thank you, will check Trailblazer again
