Hi Fellow guardians, I need little advice since I am new to this. Is it good to Resign before being put on PIP? (Since purposefully failed in IG) If put on PIP will it cause problems to come back into the org? (Some sort of red flag in LKND and MSFT records) or let them put on pip take the severance and leave the org. but in this process, the manager is using unprofessional language and shaming indirectly. Even HR is using high-toned volume during IG meetings. I am thinking to resign since it does not worth the money and the pain of dealing with an idiot manager. Open to suggestions. YOE: 4
Involuntary termination can result in no-hire if the reason for termination is mentioned as low performance
Thanks for informing, i tried telling skip since skip need to manage nuclear team so no response from him. I don't want to get involved in VC and all meetings so i am deciding to resign. I love linkedin so much but due to bad terms i am leaving, could not see this coming both managers were friendly but suddenly they gave bad rating and this shit show started.
dumb question. what was the bad rating?
Does not meet ( got infected with covid 2 times was on bed rest 1-2 months each, so got less time to deliver more and got behind then other team mates on scoreboard, then manager kept changing the scope of the tasks and kept lying about the goals, expectations, once i outsmarted him unintentionally so that's why the whole setup he did.)
Damn, which org. LinkedIn manager being unprofessional should be reported to skip level immediately. If no progress then keep VP in cc. Getting fired will be a red flag if you want to come back.
