I've basically made up my mind that I am going with Apple and want some advice on how to finish the process. All the details of who I am and what offers I have been given can be found in the original post (1) -- 3.5 YOE, offered an ICT3 role at Apple. The Apple recruiter made another offer which was 155 base, 150 RSUs over 4 years vesting every 6 months and 45K sign on bonus with 15k coming in the second year ~(155, 150, 45). I told the recruiter that I would be hearing AWS' counter offer and would provide the information in the event that their offer is competitive (very unlikely). What are my next moves? Is this a good offer? Should I try to squeeze out more RSUs or sign on bonus? The end of year cycle is up in October and I would be eligible for a bonus, but I would likely not receive the 8% target. I would appreciate any advice whatsoever. (1) - https://www.teamblind.com/post/AFnHyv4S #apple #negotiate #leetcode #aws
That is a top offer for ICT3. The only thing you can push here is the sign on bonus. Try for 100k with 75k and 25k split.
That's a very good offer.
Does 150 rsus mean 150 shares? Apple usually decides number of stocks at a specific date, so do you mean 150k worth of stocks over 4 years?
Oops never mind, I see you wrote 155/150/45. Looks like a decent offer to me. Which org?
Hi I was wondering how long does it take for the recruiter to respond to a counter offer? Thanks
That’s not bad for 3.5 YOE, someone else chime in on the RSU band for ICT3 though
