Can parenthesis be nested (in English or for any other human language (though I think the answer will not differ)) like in this sentence?
Absolutely. Will some persons take a grammar or convention stance against it? Of course. Does that matter if you are conveying meaning without coming across to your audience as “less-than” for whatever reason? Not one bit.
If you need nested parentheses, your sentence is likely too long and may confuse the reader. Rephrase it. To your question, yes, it can be nested.
Maybe (in some cases (but not others) it is ok) but probably not.
Yes, use a stack in your mind to understand the meaning ;)
Dont nest it, it looks bad. You can do literally whatever you want, but if you're asking if it looks good it doesnt. Think about how messy code looks when you have multiple nested parentheses/brackets. Now ask yourself how that looks in writing.
Only if you speaking in LISP
mix it up with some dashes and commas
Ive never seen it in English. It makes you look like a bad writer, unless it's a joke.
Depends on what you are writing for
