I have a couple SWE offers and hoping the experts on Blind can help me decide which offer to take here: YoE: ~5 in Bay Area NetApp: ~221k Zscaler: ~250k Veeva: ~220k Veeva team seems nice, knowledgeable, and the work from anywhere policy. Zscaler team seems good too but they were not very diverse which worries me a bit due to tribal culture and they expect everyone in the office in 2022. And are the zscaler reviews fake on glassdoor? Does anyone know how is the WLB and the culture at Zscaler? Thanks! Updated1: with Veeva offer #engineering #software #swe #zscaler
Hey op have an interview (phone) for sde role Lat Veeva, do you mind sharing what should i be expecting?
It was a 2 coding, 1 system design, and 2 behavior. Hope this helps
@Nike how was the interview?
Is this Bay Area ?
That's correct, its in the Bay Area
Zscaler > Veeva > NetApp
Also I got 260k offer for Veeva 6 months ago. YOE 3.5
@dyu0gf wow your offer was quite high. Was that without negotiating? They only offered me ~220k despite having other competing offers.
Had an offer from veeva last year too and it seems like they pay a bit low
If WLB is the criteria, NTAP is the best once you ‘fit in’. Permanent cruise control on. The company would last a decade anyway. Stay away from Zscaler, they will make junior members work really hard and cruising is only for ‘established’ fellows.
I’ve been at Zscaler for 10 months now. WLB depends on org/team. I’m in product and it’s shit. They keep hiring buddies from Palo Alto. I’m staying until I vest and jumping ship
No one knows veeva take netapp
Which company did you join?
Netapp rocks in terms of wlb
