Netflix recruiter viewed my LinkedIn profile (LinkedIn hid their name)after I submitted an application but i haven’t heard back. It’s been 24hrs. Do I assume I wasn’t a fit or keep hoping? #Netflix

Same thing happened to me. Kept applying for ~2yrs and finally got contacted earlier this year. Don’t get your hopes up for this encounter, but keep on applying. Eventually everything will align as expected.

I emailed a recruiter colleague at Netflix and got in the door, offer 2 weeks later. Relationships are everything
If you haven’t talked to anyone don’t get your hopes up to begin with at a big company like that. Dropping applications into a webpage is a bottomless pit. Network with people at the company first via LinkedIn
Yes, that’s true! Having an existing relationship with a hiring manager will almost always result in better outcomes (for both sides). That said, don’t be that person who randomly adds managers asking them if they have open roles. It’s obnoxious. Do your research and be specific.
