I see so many posts about Netflix being an upgrade from Amazon. I am going to interview with Netflix in two weeks. Anyone from Amazon who joined Netflix, could you please share your experience?
Sigh. This is like executing an if(true) block.
Netflix is wonderful, but it's certainly a different place than others I've worked at. You will either love it or hate it, not a lot of middle ground.
I came here from Amazon for a >2x salary. Haven't looked back since. Culture is superficially similar in some ways, very different in others. Also, you get cash and can choose your exposure to Netflix stock.
PM'd you
It is not an upgrade. A lot of upgrades!
Vest every month instead of 5 15 40 40. Enough said.
How are expectations/targets at Netflix as compared to Amazon? Is there a lot of burnout?
Really? Why do you say that? Any specifics would be great.
Why is Netflix offering me less than Amazon TC? Doesn't match up with the culture deck.
I believe an upgrade would be an understatement.
That good? I have no idea about Netflix culture and such, besides people on blind raving about it. Any specifics would be really helpful. Thanks!
Read the culture deck beforehand, it helped me a bit with the interviews
