Hello! My recruiter was laid off (found out from LinkedIn post) after my round 3 interview (supposedly only one more panel to go). Does anyone know if Netflix is laying off? Anyone with similar experiences and know how this may affect the process? My last panel interview was Friday and she just got laid off yesterday on Tuesday. I’m planning to follow up anyways on Monday. Update: Still have not been contacted, but it looks like the job posting was removed all together? Does anyone know why that could be? Update 2: Got contacted by a new recruiter yesterday to schedule next round! TC: 170K #layoff #interview #netflix
No wide scale layoffs. Probably just a few targeted reductions. Also won’t affect your process and if it does, they’ll let you know.
Netflix is notorious for firing people all the time. That’s not to say it’s not an amazing place to work, but they are aggressive at laying off or firing unneeded or underperforming people
What level in Netflix are you applying for?
It didn't say in the posting or when I got contacted
Can you share more about your interview experience/rounds/questions asked? Have one coming up.
