I keep seeing conflicting things. Some people say it’s a somewhat demanding but respectful place to work, some say it’s a meat grinder. What’s the truth? #netflix #worklifebalance
lol I had to mute that fool on Twitter. Truly cringe.
People are efficient and don’t slack off during work hours. But also everyone on my team takes 8 weeks off a year.
It depends on the team, but generally you won't find slackers in the company.

Quitting this Slave life
I didn’t work there but interviewed and heard from a friend that 1) someone quit due to stress without having backup job. 2) heard stories from others of immediate firings/separation if it’s not working out. 3) my convo with the recruiter just didn’t give me great vibes. He was shooting questions at me and sounded like a car salesman. Something didn’t feel quite right. I was not in right location for the role so didn’t get it but they do seem to pay well.
Theprimeagen is a YouTuber who works at Netflix. You described his personality and it's quite disconcerting. It seems like he's more about sounding competent rather than being competent. Doesn't mean he's not competent but there's an insecurity there that I wouldn't want to deal with.
