Hey Y'all, Can anyone suggest me some Study material for Amazon's Network Development engineer Position please? Also, what kind of Automation questions I can expect for the interview? In depth Python (String/Array/DS) or just Automate a task and explain how? #Amazon #NDE #interview #engineer #it
Any idea what ccie topics they like to touch in general
Big on tcp ip - 3 way handshake, window scaling, congestion control, flags Bgp - best path, route reflectors, ebgp vs ibgp, loop avoidance..mostly white board Ospf - lsa types, area0 vs rest etc
How do you know? Did you interview with them? @verizon
Depends on a level but basic things like TCP flow control, network platform design knowledge are expected besides routing (switch vs router, ASIC vs NPU, basic platform building blocks and life of a packet). You should be able to demonstrate how you automate something with Python as well. Also, you should be able to work with Linux and demonstrate it with your knowledge of basic shell commands and scripting.
How did it go?
CCIE level questions and one round of coding...depends on the team, most of them ask for pseudo code ( string manipulation, dictionaries, etc etc)
