You can learn Networking QA after worked as dedicated Network engineer , it’s going to be very hard to do other way around. However, QA with automation is a good skill to have and can take you up the ladder.

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
What do you want to work as in the long run? I have seen many networking QA managers going higher up to directorial roles. But, so did network engineers taking up SRE or Systems level directorial positions.
