Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
Hi everyone, So I recently read about the Edakunni vs. Mayorkas settlement which states that “H-4, and L-2 dependents who properly file Form I-539 and Form I-765, as applicable, with the principal’s Form I-129 will be adjudicated together.” I unfortunately did not get my H1B picked up in the lottery this year and my EAD expires end of April. I was planning on moving back but came across the above process. My boyfriend got his H1B picked up in the lottery and we are planning to do a court wedding in the next couple of weeks. Is it possible for his team to apply for his H1B + H4 + H4 EAD under the above category? I have until June end to stay in the US and my F1 visa is valid until July end. Does anyone have any idea about this? Thanks #2024H1B #h1b
You can get H4 but for H4-EAD, the spouse needs to have an approved I-140.
This. You can stay not work
Not with approved i140
H1B should have an approved I140 for H4 to be eligible to apply for EAD.
Does he have I140 approved?
