Seriously- how is anyone able to afford living here? Are you saving any money? I cant find a place for under 3K
Your options are roommates / family, Harlem, Washington Heights, half of Brooklyn, most of Queens, most of the Bronx, or (if you don't care too much about your dating prospects) NJ.
Brooklyn is the same price as Manhattan these days except for east Brooklyn
South Brooklyn is cheaper too. North Brooklyn is cheaper as well. Why are people petrified of an extra 15 minutes on the train or living in residential neighborhoods?

It’s not really that much cheaper anymore thanks to Hybrid. Places in Harlem are about the same as where I live now in Jersey.
