New company I am interviewing with is asking for proof of unvested stock before giving an offer. Is this normal? Edit - I asked them to email me what they need. It’s Goldman Sachs Tc 225
They shouldn't make your offer contingent on your current job. You can tell them what your requirements for the role are and it's really not their business whether that's because of vesting stock or because you just demand it on the market. To require verification is a violation of your privacy and shows they aren't interested in your satisfaction. Red flag
No one does that. It’s a way calculate your current bands Because they can’t officially ask for your base pay 😁
Right click, inspect source, edit RSU and $$$ to what you want
One of my past colleague did exactly this adding a 0 at the end. It worked for him.
Decline it immediately it's a sign of being cheap and insecure
What company asked this?
+1 please share and warn others
I’ve seen this at a lot of companies. Call me crazy but I just have a hard rule on NOT screenshotting anything bank related. I know I know, nuts, right? <sarcasm>.
Don’t go to GS. It’s a piece of shit..
I don't see any issue in they asking for some documents regarding unvested RSUs. Goldman takes lot of time for all approvals and as such I think they are trying to be proactive in gathering everything to give complete picture on their full offer which you may probably would prefer too.
