Hi everyone, I will be a new grad soon and I am applying for software engineer roles. Apart from Leetcode style algorithm coding, what other subject areas are usually covered for an entry role? (please name the company too) If possible can you mention the interview process too? (e.g. two one-hour phone class asking 1 and 2 and then a 5-hour onsite asking 3 4 5 6 7) #google #facebook #amazon #microsoft #stripe #square #snap #tiktok #twitter #linkedin #uber #salesforce #lyft #apple #palantir #roche #oracle #robinhood #coinbase #carta #10xgenomics #illumina #23andme #databricks #cloudera #dropbox #box #adobe #
Out of curiosity, why wouldn’t you want to return to Salesforce (assuming you interceded there)
I was an intern there. I was far from graduation so I could not get a return offer.
That makes sense, but would you consider going back if you could?

I believe new grad Amazon is 3 coding, 1 LP/behavioral. This format seems pretty common. So just be ready to talk about your college experience/internship experience and leetcode and you should be fine
Lol Amazon is one online coding test and you can get an offer.
I think Amazon SDE-1 has a couple of tracks - for the new grad track, it's just one online assessment and one phone interview (not 100% sure about the phone interview). The other track through which I got in had an online assessment and then a virtual onsite of 4 rounds - 2 of algorithms, 1 of object oriented design and 1 behavioral on LPs. Good luck with your job search ✌🏻
