Does Amazon sponsor I-140 for new hires? I am currently outside the US and do not have authorization to work there, neither Chinese nor Indian and it seems with I-140 and DS 260 I could get work authorization faster than eg H1B. Further benefit is that it'd be directly a green card. Is this a reasonable aim? Does it require VP approval? Recruiter said they can only sponsor green card once I'm employed in the US, but they may have confused with the I-485 route. TC 230K
I-140 in premium and consular processing would be the best for you as you could turn things around in just over a year. Is the company willing to wait that long?
