I got laid off - work in Data Science in NYC. Saw at least 10 other DS who were deactivated on Slack. I was not deactivated, so expect the number is higher than that. Don’t know about other functions. 4 weeks severance 💩

Yep, a few VPs of data science also taken down. My team in Chicago didn't have any layoffs today but we are so uncertain about tomorrow.
Not me and I understand it's _generally_ not tech / engineering, I guess mostly commercial or ops people?
