Nike slow to respond after interview for leadership roles?

I have been waiting to hear back from Nike after few interviews with Nike for a leadership role. All interviews went great and now HR has not responded to my follow up email. I have heard Nike is very slow to respond but anyone has any insights?

How long have you been waiting?

It has been 2 weeks now and no response. Even recruiter didnโ€™t respond to the follow-up email.

Do they hire their leadership roles on a 6 month contract like they do their devs and financial analysts? ๐Ÿ˜‚

That was their MO with me. They said I was one of the final two then went dark. When I got another job offer and prodded them about it, they did come back and say no.

I am hoping they donโ€™t do that

The higher up the longer the it takes. They're always slow, took 4 months for me to get hired into a middle management position. Oftentimes the HR department is overwhelmed and don't do a great job of responding. There's really no way to tell if it's a positive or negative sign it's just they take a long time.

Took me 4 months with some radio silence and it was a yes towards a leadership role. I wouldnโ€™t read too deep into it. Stay positive and follow up when appropriate.
