No Ethics in Americaš¤¦āāļø
Its so sad to see the government employees suffering, i am an immigrant, i dont know if this is the country that has any ethics, holding them hostage for ego trips.
Only sad thing here is how emotional and easily swayed people like you are by popular media and news sources. Thinking for yourself once in a while would probably help you have a better time.

I suggest you figure out whatās going on to others from your own personal experience. If your emotional state is contingent so heavily upon the words of people you donāt know and have never seen, you have no chance for happiness. I think itās selfish of you to not engage with real people in real life to form your point of view. Itās selfish because you value lonesome consumption of media more than the real people and experiences available to you in your own life.
There are ethics, just not at the top for the next two years or so. There is always room for improvement.

Well, your question read much differently to me. If Americans truly and fully cared about other Americans, maybe there would be protests about this too. So that's some ethic improvement we could see.
America and ethics? Of course not. But then neither did the Roman Empire or the British empire. You donāt get to stay a superpower if you have ethics.
Sadder is when the primary function of a government (border defense) hasnāt been taken seriously for 30 years.

Healthcare isnāt a right here. Sick leave isnāt a right here. Paid vacation isnāt a right here. Maternity leave isnāt a right here. We invade countries on false pretense and lies. 90 people a day die in gun violence. And you question if weāre an ethical country? It depends on who is in power, but the answer is a range is maybe to hell no. And as long as this country keeps prioritizing the individual over we the people, we will never be an ethical country.

Thatās just semantics. All western countries have a constitution that outlines an effective bill of rights for citizens. The point is how the country values the individual vs individuals. And that is entirely governed by article 2 which outlines the powers of congress.
It's a bit of a pain but those that are impacted will get paid for sitting at home for months. Also quite a few banks are offering 0% loans or are paying them regularly.
