I've gotten to onsite for multiple companies (not FAANG), but well known, and usually don't get an offer (after getting a "yes" to every round in the interview - I've asked for feedback, and these companies have given it) because I don't have the necessary YOE for senior. They down level me to mid level simply because of YOE and give out the offer to someone with 10+ YOE for example. I'm currently at 5 YOE. I've gotten resume downleveled because of YOE, but still raise the bar in some of the rounds. I have gotten offers in the range of 200k base salary, 15% bonus for ex. but these are no name companies and they would give me "senior" title. Would it be bad to go from Google > Flexport > no name? Bro just get any job first. Worry later
Exactly
It depends on what you are going to work on and what your responsibilities would be- if you build something cool and are able to explain the details at an interview later on, who cares what company you are coming from. TBH I sometimes don’t mind going back to a startup to work on some great staff vs. navigating through piles of shit at a large corp every day.
Take the no name and continue to interview. In a few months you'll know if the no name is no worth too. You never know, you may actually enjoy the work and freedom you get in such a small startup. Go for it!
I don’t understand why people think no name small companies are career suicide. Ive done both and I’ve learned a hell of a lot more valuable skills and done a lot more actual work working at small companies than I have navigating the corporate slog at big companies. Spend more time worrying about being good than worrying about resume prestige and you’ll have options.

One thing to note, and not a flex, I have enough runway to weather out not being employed for around 5 years in the SF area
That's your retirement you're eating into
