There's one year to go, but Washington's IDs won't be acceptable at airports. After that, the only TSA acceptable ID I'll have is my passport. Does that mean the only way I can get a Visa for countries that have embassies in SF is to stay there till I get my passport back? Do you know of any workarounds/IDs for domestic travel without passports?
You can try to get global entry card. That’s accepted. And will solve the passport problem.
Only citizens are sent the physical card.
Wut? Global entry is for non citizens
Dude get a Real ID
WA resident can’t get real id unless they’re US citizen or PR
Really??
Ohh wow didn't think of that! I'll have to do a road trip back to Seattle. This system is not designed for immigrants. Imagine the uproar if citizens were facing a problem like this.
Can’t you mail your passport? I’ve done that a few times.
What country's citizen are you that you need so many visas?
