Any non-tech (can’t code) entrepreneur here ringing in >$1 million in annual revenues? Most of the start ups require app or its tech product oriented so I have seen folks with technical background launching it. Curious to here if there are entrepreneurs out there who cannot code but did successfully launch a start up. Thanks!
Most small businesses are small, "main st america" businesses. Startups are a tiny fraction of the economy if you remove the unicorns.
I’m not at that point yet so take my opinion with a grain of salt. However, in my network, it’s actually the entrepreneurs making physical products (subscription boxes and the like) who have gotten to 1M+ ARR much more quickly. Global retail is just such a big pool.
Agree with your point on global retail. But to create subscription service, don’t they need an app? I am trying to understand if they outsourced creating that app.
That's not necessary to create a subscription box service. It's just Shopify + a subscription box plugin (recharge or something similar). You can put together a company like that entirely with off the shelf software. The challenge is the marketing and manufacturing side of it. Great questions by the way! I think a lot of folks ignore how much money there is in entrepreneurship outside of pure tech.
