Help me understand if this is even possible? If it is then I would like to know how. I knew a friend who is a biology major who has been working at the hospital lab for years. Besides doing normal stuffs in computer that everybody does, he doesn’t know much about tech. Few months ago, he started taking a boot camp training program in something like devops/reliability engineer. Then he applied to bunch of companies included Apple. Now he is working as a contractor at Apple. I have asked him how he got there but didn’t get any meaningful response. I feel this is unfair and frankly a bit jealous. If this is possible, I seriously want to consider this. TC: 🥜
The best thing about tech is that anyone can pick it up. The worst thing about tech is that anyone can pick it up.
Contractor jobs sucks.
explains a lot
Getting a contractor job at Apple is not at all challenging. I know a friend who did exactly the same. They pay you 🥜 but who cares if you get a tech job with zero background and by just doing a bootcamp program
Of course it’s possible. And yes you should do it too, no brainer
