Non tech salaries - manufacturing, operations, supply chain.

Hello Blinders, Where can I find info to gage my TC to peers in smaller / non tech companies? Indeed and glassdoor have ranges from 43k to 180k but I'd really like to get an idea of where I'm at/should be comparing apples to apples as I'm coming up due for a contract renewal. Should I be comparing to roles in companies based on similar revenue? What are others making in a similar roles? Supply Chain Management 10 yoe TC 143k Revenue 80mm

Supply chain is pretty broad. What are you doing in supply chain?

In summary, demand planning then scheduling manufacturing to meet demand and ordering raw materials to meet manufacturing demand. Essentially, end to end but internally.

How do you project the demand planning during a pandemic?

I'll give you my best guess based on what my MBA classmates told me what they/their team earn. Assume high tech companies with strong background L4: ~$100k L5: ~$150k L6: ~$180-270k / L6 manager: $220-300k L7: ~$250-320k / L7 manager: $ 300k-400k (note: some L7's make ridiculously more than this) L4 has 0-3 YOE, L5 3-6 YOE L6 6-10+ YOE L7 >12 YOE of course, your mileage may vary both in comp and YOE for the level

I’m not quite sure the company revenue is as big of an influencer as you might think. From my experience larger or better run companies tend to require better performance, track record, & experience for equal paying jobs vs. smaller companies. They also tend to have you focus more. So, right now you’re doing end-to-end at a very small company while at a larger company you’d focus on just one part. My company breaks demand, inventory targets, scheduling, procurement etc each into its own group. Your comp looks great especially if you’re in a low cost area. YOE 11 TC $145k
