Noom Layoffs?
I’ve seen a few post on Reddit and Glassdoor that suggest Noom may be doing another round of layoffs. Can anyone confirm?
Dunno, but interviewed with them and they have the dumbest product.
Did they make you an offer? I’ve been hearing some crazy verbal numbers coming from them and they don’t seem to be in a solid enough place financially to be making those claims. I.e like $270-$300k TC for a Low/Mid SWE
Dunno, I got to team matching but then layoffs started happening and the recruiter didn’t keep in touch with me. I got verbal offers of higher than those actually lol. I was interviewing for staff, and they said they could get up to 500k - including paper RSUs

They happened Wednesday and they were huge - 40% of the company gone. Surprised it didn’t get more coverage.

40% of the company cut, massive reorg w/ many roles changing. Many hoping for a quick exit so they can get something out of their options before they bail/are forced to leave. It’s not pretty.
You mean stock options? Why would staying prevent you from getting something out of stock options?
A startup exit is acquirement or IPO, some liquidity event. Many also want to exit the company, so the words kinda blend together
Confirmed. Looks to be about 500 more people. And worth pointing out that they did layoffs in the final month of every fiscal quarter for the past 12 months (our FY starts in Feb because January is so hectic for weight loss)

How many GSs are left? I thought it was about 60 on NW side and around 60 on B2B?
