Hate it. Yo my honest opinion: don’t work here. You might get lucky and get w a good group, but the culture is beyond unfriendly. It’s just distasteful. And the work is slower than molasses. I mean that’s what you get when you get your work from the DoD. Great place to learn and wlb is actually pretty legit because nothing matters. But remote work is not allowed and TC is farrrr below the average. Take caution. I work there now, and I wouldn’t be telling you this if it wasn’t in my best interest. I just want people to be very aware. Go tech it’s where the money is at and the people are legit. Just a bunch of old timers cruisin into retirement at NG

Pretty similar to Boeing eh

Yeah, I figured. From all the aerospace/defense posts on Blind + talking to friends at other companies (Raytheon, Lockheed) + talking to coworkers I’ve pretty much concluded that unless you ‘get hard’ for military aircraft or satellites then don’t work here. The culture and personnel will suck your soul out. Even if you do live and breathe military jets/rockets/weapons, you still might hate it. Idk I’d say make the jump if you get a good raise, but don’t stay.

Pros: good WLB, easy/relaxed, pay can be okay, rockets are cooler than ads, there are some renowned experts in niche fields Cons: pay is not top notch, old school culture, no perks at all, won't grow skill set to maximize TC, get pigeonholed, conservative culture, slow growth very much a pay your dues, a lot of dud coworkers FYI, I was doing pretty well but left.to get more TC. You can have a decent career there 250k+ at 20 yoe in lower COL areas.

Miserable work life balance. I don’t recommend it at all, I’m actively searching to leave
